PURPOSE + PLANNING

Inspira is a resource-curation website for creatives, using AI to streamling artistic planning. This project began with an understanding of the relationship between artists and AI. As an artist myself, I have experienced the frustration of AI being built on the exploitation of artists online. I wanted to restructure the relationship between artists and AI by providing an environment where this technology can uplift the creative process in a systemized manner, rather than be a reductive version of it.

PROCESS + LEARNING GOALS

Inspira’s current prototype supports primary workflows, such as logging in and signing up, creating a new workspace, saving generated resources to a profile, and exploring a page of publicly available workspaces categorized by art form.

  • Visualized workflows through both hand-drawn and digital sitemaps
  • Conducted interviews with student artists on campus, to identify pain-points of existing UI's and ways to mitigate them in this project
  • Building on the base application to integrate responsive design for smaller screen sizes, and a dark mode functionality to the UI
  • Began preliminary research into the Pinterest API and the proper tech stack needed to begin development
